YU QIAN is 23 years old and learned pottery at Johns Creek Art Gallery from his mother Keok Lim or KB as she likes to be called. KB is a dentist by profession but left her practice to homeschool her son, Yu Qian, who has autism.

One of Yu Qian’s greatest pleasures is losing himself in the creative process.  From the initial inspiration and concept phase, to the selection of colors, to the moment when the piece goes into the kiln; Yu Qian remains in his zone and totally engaged in the process of his creation.
